Exercise 1
of 5
Here you'll learn Chinese words and sentences to say hello and to start a conversation in Mandarin Chinese. This is your basic starting point for understanding the Chinese language. Arriving in China can be a culture shock for some people, but having a friendly face to meet you helps you to settle in quickly.
With its modern interiors, you should be able to navigate through Beijing Airport without any difficulty. All signs will be in English as well as Chinese, and most customer facing airport staff will have some proficiency in English. It isn't essential to learn Chinese if you're on a brief visit to China, but it can make your experience more rewarding.
