Exercise 1
of 10
Here you'll learn how to order dinner at a Chinese restaurant. You'll understand what the waitress might say as you seated in the restaurant. You'll learn how to ask order local favourites such as pork, Chinese cabbage, and roast duck in Mandarin Chinese!
When examining a menu in China, you may see that soup is normally served at the end of a meal rather than as a starter. Also fruits are the most common food served for dessert. Do not expect to see Western desserts such as ice cream and cakes on offer. You are also unlikely to see coffee and chocolates served at the end of a genuine Chinese meal.
