Exercise 1
of 10
Here you'll learn to say the numbers from 11 to 999 in Mandarin Chinese. You have learned to say numbers 1 to 10 already and these are the basic building clocks to form all higher numbers. You will reap the benefits of the decimal structure of Chinese numbers, as very little new vocabulary is needed.
As with many new areas in Chinese, some practice will be required to increase your competency. The structure of Chinese numbers is not very different than numbers in English, and is actually a little bit less complex. By the time you master these exercises, you'll be ready to get out there and start haggling for higher value items, and telling people your old relatives' ages!
