In these exercises, you will learn Mandarin vocabulary essential when checking in to your hotel room, such as stating how many rooms you booked and what the duration of your stay will be. You'll learn Mandarin Chinese useful phrases for speaking to the hotel receptionist while you check in. You'll also learn Chinese sentences needed when responding to questions you may be asked during the check in process.
After the Beijing Olympics and Shanghai World Expo, there is no shortage of good quality hotels in China's main cities. If your budget will allow, you will find plenty of top hotels to choose from. Hotels in China typically have a lot more staff than Western hotels, and you should find a very high level of service in most hotels.
