Exercise 1
of 10
To type a special pinyin letter, simply type the vowel followed by the number of the tone.
For example, typing 'a1' will convert to 'ā' when typed.
Here you will learn the most useful Chinese vocabulary when preparing a business presentation. You will learn how to sales have increased or decreased, or how much percent costs have increased or decreased. You will be able to say whether costs are under budget or over budget, and by what percentage. And ultimately, you'll be able to advise your Chinese colleagues on profitability.
As with all matters relating to business or personal relationships in China, it is advisable not to cause anyone to lose face by your presentation. Try to avoid overly negative conclusions and criticisms if you are evaluating a project performance or assessing whether other teams have met their targets. It is better to objectively lay out the facts, praising all positive outcomes. Public forums are not the preferred place for getting into details about under-performance among Chinese people.
