You get the opportunity to learn Chinese greetings such as 'Good morning' while at the hotel's breakfast buffet in the morning. In these exercises you'll learn Mandarin vocabulary essential to ordering the breakfast you desire, whether it's Chinese dishes or just bacon and eggs! It will be beneficial to learn Mandarin Chinese words for certain foods in order to make your time in China as memorable as possible.
Many Chinese people get their breakfast at small stalls and mobile vendors throughout the cities. Favourite dishes here include omelettes, pancakes, fried dough snacks and soups. In Hong Kong, 'Yum cha' or 'Dim sum' is a popular breakfast tradition for those not in a rush. It's a selection of small delicately prepared dumplings with an assortment of fillings, as well as other interesting dishes.
