On GraspChinese.com, the lesson is the starting point for introducing new material. In our lessons, you will hear a conversation in Chinese while at the same time showing you how that key words and phrases are written in Pinyin.
This area of the page displays the mandarin chinese (top sentence) and english (bottom sentence) for the conversation being held. The words that are being spoken are highlighted in red to make it very clear what word(s) are to be focused on.

Our listening exercises test your ability to match an english word or phrase with the audio of the chinese translation. Simular to how the image exercise works, you are given 4 possible answers to the exercise.
These are the 4 possible answers to the exercise. When the page is loaded, the four audio files are played consecutively and you have to match one of the audio files with the english word/phrase below.
